WBA #11 Bantamweight Andrew Moloney (13-0-0) easily disposed of Mexican Aramis Solis (16-5-0) in round three of scheduled ten round bout at the Function Centre, Melbourne Park, Victoria, Australia on Saturday.Moloney controlled the action from opening round and the referee Allan McColl called it off at 2.59.
In other action, WBA #9 super-bantamweight Jason Moloney (13-0-0) stopped Emanuel Aramdariz (12-3-2) in round five of a scheduled ten round bout. Moloney displayed outstanding skills in the fight but the durable Mexican had his moments also with sucess with effective uppercuts and good ring craft. Referee Tony Marretta crowned Maloney at 0.53 secs into the 5th with the fallen opponent clearly bewildered by the decision.
Also classy super-middleweight Jayde Mitchell (14-1-0) forced a fifth round stoppage of Istvan Zeller (37-16-0) in a scheduled ten. Zeller was dropped in round three and referee Tony Marretta called it off at 2.22 of round five.
